Shooting and reviewing the Ruger SR9 9mm pistol. The Ruger SR9 is a semi-automatic pistol and is a striker fired hand gun made by Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc.

I also decided that I would test out my new home made target stands and shoot some reactive targets.

The Ruger SR9 hand gun is chambered in the 9x19mm parabellum or 9mm.
I am shooting Russian made 115 grain TulAmmo. These rounds are full metal jacket with steel casings.

The things that I like most about this pistol is that this gun has a crisp trigger break a nice clean sight picture, and it is very accurate to shoot within 50 yards. I did however have one malfunction during my review where the pistol slide did not cycle all the way into battery when loading the next round from the magazine. I am not sure what exactly caused this malfunction. It was easy to clear and I was on my way shooting again.

A special thanks/shout out goes out to my wife Sara. She was kind enough to lend me her pistol to do a firearms shooting review for this video. Thanks honey!
